Data Engineer

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• You are part of a growing agile community creating the data backbone for the digital future of Vaillant.
• As a member of a newly build team, you support the development and operation of a data hub and corresponding data interfaces and loads.
• You are responsible for the implementation, automation, operation and further development of data hub and data platform and corresponding data products.
• You contribute to the constant extension and improvement of the data hub infrastructure and work close with the product owner and other business parts to understand their needs and requirements.
• Furthermore, you implement the data architecture and infrastructure together with the architects and integrate it in the existing setup.
• While adhering to a jointly agreed quality level, you manage and work on backlog items to achieve the agile team’s goal.
   

 

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

• You possess knowledge of modern development methods and tools as well as continuous integration and automated testing and have at least 3 years of professional experience.
• You bring knowledge of Javascript, Typescript and Python is a plus.
• Your business-fluent English skills and your open and trustworthy personality enable you to communicate confidently at all levels.
• You are interested in learning and expanding your horizons.
