Main purpose of the HR Generalist role:

In general, this position supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department and acts as the first point of contact for the company. This position will work on-site at the Pennsylvania location. The person in this role needs to be resourceful and tech savvy with the ability to excel in a fast paced work environment

 

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • First point of contact for company visitors in reception area. 
  • Delivers consistently exceptional customer service to Revolve employees at all levels and external points of contact.
  • Provides day to day operational support of the HR department to ensure that various tasks are completed as needed (e.g., filing, new hire paperwork, scheduling meetings, ordering office supplies, mail, e-mail etc.
  • Ordering and coordinating weekly company lunches
  • Assist with projects as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic partnership with leadership across all departments to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
  • Provide support for company policies and procedures inquiries, as well as work with managers to quickly resolve any issues that may arise
  • Intake employee concerns, conduct investigations, and provide managers guidance on conflict resolution
  • Administer workers’ compensation claims, maintain OSHA compliance, support the light-duty program and return-to-work process, and work closely with adjusters and brokers risk specialist
  • Support efforts to promote company culture
  • Understanding of payroll and HRIS systems with the ability to produce key indicator reports to drive administrative efficiency. 
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners to effectively implement new and existing initiatives
  • Properly maintain all employee files/records, reports and documents ensuring compliance
  • Create/update spreadsheets to capture specific data for various HR related projects
  • and/or reports.
  • Assist in coordinating employee events, and employee engagement activities
  • Partner with recruiting to develop programs, processes and procedures to identify causes for turnover and effective means to increase retention and employee morale
  • Review separation requests and supporting documentation with managers and/or supervisors
  • Partner with managers in all terminations and disciplinary action, ensuring proper policy and procedures are utilized to reduce adverse employment claims
  • Ensure compliance of all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
