Pay: £14.65 per hour Hours:

Training Week: 8 hours per day (Mon–Fri)

Ongoing: 4 on / 4 off, 6am–6pm

About the Role

We’re recruiting a dependable and detail‑focused Gatehouse Operative to support a busy site in Biggleswade. This role suits someone confident with people, calm under pressure, and comfortable working independently across 12‑hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Access control for all vehicles, staff, and visitors

Vehicle check‑in/out and accurate completion of paperwork

Monitoring site security and reporting issues promptly

Issuing passes and maintaining visitor logs

Liaising with warehouse, transport, and security teams

Ensuring compliance with all site procedures and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

Experience in gatehouse, security, transport admin, or logistics is beneficial

Strong communication and customer‑service approach

Comfortable working 12‑hour shifts on a rotating pattern

High attention to detail and accuracy

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
