About the role

Netskope Private Access (NPA) is our Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA) product that large Fortune 500 enterprises use and rely upon everyday for secure access to their private applications. NPA reduces risk by providing zero trust application access instead of network access.

What’s in it for you

The Netskope Private Access (NPA) team is a cross-functional group of talented engineers responsible for the end-to-end development of NPA. As an engineering leader on this team you will play an integral part in the continuing development and evolution of this cloud-native service.

What you will be doing

• Collaborating with product managers and architects, and leading the development of key NPA features.
• Maintaining and increasing product resiliency and sustainability
• Managing a high-performance team, and coaching, mentoring and encouraging the career growth of team members
• Enabling your team to build well-designed, high-quality software
• Establishing best practices and code hygiene in the development cycle

Required skills and experience

• A minimum of 12+ years of relevant work experience with 5+ years in a managerial role.
• A proven history of building a high-performance teams, and proficiency in defining effective engineering processes to accelerate the delivery of business results with high quality
• Demonstrable technical accomplishments and earned engineering credibility
• Hands-on data plane development experience with VPN, ZTNA, or an adjacent packet processing product such as NGFW, IPS, or ADC.
• Experience developing and maintaining distributed cloud services
• Proponent of TDD is a big plus, knowledge of various unit testing frameworks
• The ability to suggest coding best practices and bring in effective code review feedback.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate in an open, transparent and consistent manner with team and co-workers.
• A strong customer focus and willingness to  roll up your sleeves and respond to the needs of customers proactively and promptly.

 

Education

• BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
