Are you passionate about hockey and technology? We're looking for a Hockey Systems Operator to join our dynamic team for the 2024 season. This entry-level, 8-month role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology with top-flight sports leagues.

🌟What You’ll Do:

As a Hockey Systems Operator, your primary focus will be the live operational delivery of our cutting-edge tracking technology for NHL games during the preseason and regular season. You’ll be based at our regional headquarters in Atlanta, GA, providing remote support to our clients across the country.

💼What Does a Hockey Systems Operator Do?

• Pre-season preparation of hardware and equipment for on-site installations

• Conducting pre-game system checks and troubleshooting issues promptly

• Identifying and solving potential issues to maximize operational efficiency

• Operating tracking technologies remotely from the Atlanta office during games

• Liaising with NHL personnel both on-site and remotely

• Providing real-time, quality data to the NHL

• Ensuring data integrity throughout operations

• Strong technical grounding

• Proactive and able to take initiative

• Ability to stay focused in a high-pressure, live sports environment

• Flexibility to adapt to a game schedule, including weekends and holidays

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Windows and networking principles

• Keen interest in hockey

• Background in Hockey Analytics

• Studying towards a degree in a technical field (science, technology, graphics, mathematics, engineering) or equivalent experience

• Experience with Amazon Web Services cloud environment

Shift Times:

Shifts align with NHL game schedules, typically between:

• 4:00 pm - 1:00 am

• 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

• 8:00 pm - 2:00 am
