Primary Responsibilities
- Administrate the life cycle of Crown’s telephony hardware and software.
- Design, plan and implement changes that leverage features and technologies available in hardware or software that will meet business needs, reduce cost or improve reliability, performance or efficiencies.
- Maintain DR environment that meets corporate DR requirements.
- Propose and enforce established standardization of telephony system programming.
- Develop call flow solutions for departments.
- Proactively monitor systems and processes to assist with maintaining availability and proper sizing of services among Crown’s telephony systems.
- Work with suppliers, contractors, carriers, LEC's, etc., to insure the reliable operations of systems, interfaces, components and product support for the telephone equipment.
- Establish and produce reports both scheduled and as requested that assist in capacity planning, utilization tracking, system administration and individual user activity throughout the telephony environment.
- Self-study and research to gain knowledge of current telephony technology to assist in fully utilizing current systems and assist with the implementation of new business needs.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in information systems or related field, along with four years of experience in telecommunications systems in required.
