ROLE OVERVIEW
The Quality Improvement Specialist will work collaboratively across various departments to support initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of care and internal processes. This QIS clinician would utilize the IHI framework of Quality Improvement and utilize Key Driver Diagrams to make progress. This role involves tracking quality trends, reporting findings from peer reviews, managing longitudinal engagement of patients, internal referrals, and monitoring clinical pathways, particularly for cases such as treatment-resistant depression. The specialist will also implement and analyze data related to Measurement-Based Care (MBC), ensuring continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and operational efficiency across departments, including Specialty Services.
COMPENSATION: $67,500 - $85,000/annually
RESPONSIBILITIES
Education & Training:
Develop and provide education material to clinicians to support various initiatives including measurement-based care, clinical pathways, longitudinal engagement, and internal referrals for multi-service engagement.
Develop and deliver training sessions to improve employee performance and ensure quality standards are met.
Implement tools and strategies to support MBC in collaboration with clinical teams.
Provide recommendations based on MBC data to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical efficacy.
Assist in the development and optimization of evidence-based clinical pathways for a range of conditions commensurate with the LifeStance Health patient population.
Coordinate between departments to ensure patients with complex needs are referred appropriately and receive comprehensive care.
Quality Tracking & Trend Analysis:
Collect, analyze, and report data related to quality trends within the organization to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of organizational processes.
Analyze data, identify problem areas, and recommend strategies for improvement.
Monitor and identify areas of improvement within clinical pathways, with a focus on enhancing treatment-resistant depression care, generalized anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, trauma, and other commonly occurring diagnoses at LifeStance Health.
Analyze patient-reported outcomes and other data to adjust treatment strategies and improve care delivery.
Track internal referrals and patient engagement over time to ensure continuity of care and adherence to clinical pathways.
Monitor patient retention and compliance with care plans, identifying any drop-offs and recommending adjustments.
Create reports on patient outcomes and provide actionable insights to department heads.
Ensure quality standards are met through regular audits and inspections.
