Director, Agile Product Development Process (Permanent Remote)

As the Director of Agile Product Development Process, you will be a key driver in defining a common product development process (inclusive of Agile principles and methodologies), onboarding a large product and technology organization to that process, and supporting the organization in continuing to evolve. Your primary focus will be to lead and oversee the transformation efforts, ensuring that Agile practices are effectively implemented to optimize productivity, foster collaboration, and promote innovation. 
You will report to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) & work closely with the CTO. You will also work closely with the broader product and technology leadership team, as well as key business stakeholders. You will develop and execute a comprehensive Agile transformation implementation plan, aligned with Product & Technology’s objectives, emphasizing transparency and continuous improvement, and striking a balance between standard Agile practices and the unique characteristics of Aledade, ensuring the transformation strategy is fit-to-purpose and aligned with our culture & unique business needs. You will also support organizational change by conveying the benefit to our product & technology teams, our business stakeholders and our users. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 12+ years of related experience in a software development organization (Product Management, Engineering, PMO, Scrum Master
• 4+ years of experience in Agile Program Management
• 6+ years of experience leading process in a software development environment
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of various Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and their practical application in diverse business contexts
• Experienced in relevant collaboration & product management tools such as G-Suite, Atlassian / Jira, Monday, Confluence
• Proven ability to address resistance and challenges related to Agile adoption with a positive, solution-oriented approach
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, balancing short-term goals with long-term Agile transformation objectives
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Certification as a SPC (SAFe Program Consultant), Enterprise Agile Coaching (ICP-ENT) Certification, Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or other relevant Agile certifications are desirable
• Proven experience in a large scale transformation effort 
• Both start up as well as large enterprise experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with leaders and team members to define & drive adoption of common processes, tools and approaches (e.g., quarterly planning, role clarity, use of consistent tools)
• Drive the standardization of new ways of working with stakeholders outside of product that enable Product & Technology to collaborate more effectively with the business
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and planning events to instill a deep understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices among all employees within Product & Technology
• Identify, monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to Agile transformation progress, providing regular reports to senior leadership; proactively identify adoption risks & mitigation strategies to ensure successful Agile adoption, fostering a culture of adaptability and openness to change
• Engage with external Agile experts and industry peers to stay abreast of new methodologies and efficacy
