Production Team Lead

The Production Team Lead will work with the Production Manager and other Team Leads throughout all departments to provide support by performing the following essential functions. The job will consist primarily of working on the manufacturing floor environment to assist in the manufacture, packaging, and moving product and may include machine operation.  The Production Team leads will assist the individual work cells in production as needed according to the Production Team member job description.

 

Reports to: Production Control, Fabrication or Fulfillment manager

Key Roles

• Work to standard: Perform work to standards for safety, quality, and time while identifying abnormalities.
• Organize work area: Maintain and improve organization and cleanliness of work area.
• Help solve problems: Support the team in solving problems for customers and improving processes.
• Support the team: Team Leads are responsible for the following areas within their respective cell: Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a manufacturing setting.  May be subject to the current local weather conditions. 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Position Type/Time Expectation

This is a full-time hourly position. Days and hours of work are varying from Sunday evening through Friday evening.  40-45 hours are typical.  Occasional additional overtime will be required.
