Senior Java Backend Developer

We are looking for you, if you:

• Have an experience in Java 17 (7+ years), Spring Boot and Spring framework,
• Have an experience in secure and clean coding,
• Have an architectural experience and you know how to design Restful API's,
• Have an advanced Security knowledge,
• Have an experience in Git,
• Have an experience with Junit/ Integration tests and test automation,
• Have an experience with Cloud native applications (eg. Microservices),
• Have an experience in CI/CD tools,
• Have an experience in persistence (RDBMS or nosql),
• You know how to work in Agile/Scrum.

You'll get extra points for:

• Experience in containerization (Docker and Kubernetes),
• Reliability concepts and tools knowledge (eg. SLA/Prometheus)),
• IT Risk/Security knowledge (eg. Checkmarx),
• Linux/Unix experience,
• Experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, AngularJS,
• Azure knowledge.

Your responsibilities:

The squad is responsible to maintain the platform, risk compliance, ensure reliability of the application and enable feature teams to realise their loan origination journey via CLO. Our vision is to provide a resilient and scalable digital platform, which will be one standard solution for the clients, where they can visualise the end-to-end Lending transaction process and take their decisions quicker.

Information about the squad:

The cockpit squad is platform team for asset CLO (Commercial Loan Origination). The platform team comprises of: DevOps (Dev, Ops and Data) and SRE engineers.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
