Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Account Director to support the growth of key federal civilian accounts. This role will report to the Account Partner and lead account planning, capture, and other business development activities for accounts or sub-accounts. Additionally, this role will lead and/or serve as program manager for several engagements within their account(s) portfolio. This role is both a business development and client delivery facing role.

What You Will Do:

• Develop strategies for customer outreach and engagement
• Participate in industry events to build Guidehouse’s brand
• Perform account and market research on accounts
• Develop and execute strategic account plans
• Develop and execute capture, call, and proposal plans
• Perform outreach to increase Pwin
• Coach team on business development best practices
• Lead account portfolio projects and ensure high quality delivery and responsible contract and financial management.

What You Will Need:

• A collaborative team player with a mindset for growth
• High business acumen and a strong grasp of the current industry landscape
• Experience negotiating teaming arrangements and workshare agreements, including drafting and reviewing subcontract agreements
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited University
• 10+ years of prior relevant consulting experience
• Experience leading capture and proposal for federal proposal
• Experience serving as a project or program manager for federal engagements
• Experience developing whitepapers, pitches, and rough order magnitude quotes
• Experience managing people and teams of at least 10
• Experience managing project financials and economics (budget, margin, etc.) for various contract types
• Expertise in management consulting or IT consulting.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Prior US Department of Agriculture, US Department of Commerce, US Department of Labor experience or stakeholder relationships
• Industry memberships or relationships, e.g., ACT-IAC, AFFERM
• Relationships with potential teaming partners (small, medium, and large businesses)
• Advanced degree or other professional certifications

The annual salary range for this position is $155,900.00-$343,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
