Learn more about Vail Health <a href="https://www.vailhealth.org/about">here</a>.</p></div><div><strong>Vail Health-Colorado Mountain Medical is seeking a board certified dermatologist to join our team in beautiful Avon, Colorado.&nbsp; The ideal candidate should have experience (at least fellowship training) in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery</strong></div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></div> <div> <p>Provides comprehensive dermatologic services specializing in the precise removal of skin cancer tumors using the Mohs micrographic surgery technique and functions as an independent healthcare provider.</p> </div> <div><strong>What you will do:</strong></div> <ol> <li>Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population.</li> <li>Perform Mohs micrographic surgery procedures to remove skin cancer tumors.</li> <li>Interpret histopathologic findings of tissue specimens obtained during surgery to assess tumor margins and ensure complete removal of cancerous cells.</li> <li>Prescribes or administers pharmaceuticals, other medications, immunizations, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.</li> <li>Provides health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.</li> <li>Monitors patients' conditions and progress, re-evaluating treatments, and explains procedures and test results or prescribed treatments with patients.</li> <li>Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.</li> <li>May manage the daily operations of a specific medical program, patient care unit, or research function.</li> <li>Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.</li> <li>Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.</li> <li>As appropriate to the position, participates in specified health promotion, education and/or prevention programs.</li> <li>Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.</li> <li>Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values</l
