Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the machining department, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Operate Lathe, Manual, and/or CNC machines to produce precision parts with a focus on accuracy.
- Interpret and execute work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Oversee and ensure the proper maintenance and safe operation of all machinery.
- Uphold the production of high-quality work, meeting tight tolerances and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a machinist, with a strong emphasis on manual machining.
- Deep expertise in operating Lathe, Manual, and CNC machines.
- A Journeyman card is advantageous but optional.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in running and troubleshooting a variety of manual and CNC machines.
- Subject to a pre-employment drug test and/or background check.
