Job Description

NBCU's Operations & Technology team has an SAP Payroll Systems-Sr. Analyst opportunity within the Corporate Business Solutions/HCM group. Here you can make an impact by developing and driving world-class capabilities to meet NBCU’s global technology strategies by:

• Providing technical support for the SAP HCM system
• Designing, developing, and implementing functionality for Payroll processes
• Collaborate with the business and IT teams to ensure business requirements are validated and system development goals are achieved
• Analyze and document business flow from end to end
• Initiate design reviews for new applications and adhere to software development standards
• Lead and mentor others in technical specification activities
• Design, develop, and document, efficient, well-structured US Payroll technical solutions
• Implement highly complex solutions for SAP Media Payroll
• Maintenance, enhancements + integration to other systems
• Design and deliver high-quality solutions through Technical development that meet overall business requirements
• Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as the implementation of Support Packs, Enhancement Packs, BSI, and Payroll year-end activities
• Perform SAP PY Development activities in support of the business request to improve or add functionality to the existing SAP HCM landscape specifically ABAP with an emphasis on the Payroll module
• Troubleshoot and manage complex interfaces to downstream systems such as ADP EV5, Timekeeper, Towers Watson, Skill Soft, and other benefits-related interfaces

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical/quantitative field
• At least 5 years of experience in ABAP development, ABAP HR experience and troubleshooting SAP ERP HCM (Human Capital Management) functions
• Excellent Knowledge of SAP Payroll Schema and Rules
• Hands-on experience in developing Complex Interfaces, BDC/BAPI/HR User Exits/HR ABAP objects.
• Logical database Reports(Payroll or Time, PA, OM) and Interfaces (Payroll or Time, PA, OM).
• Experience with at least two SAP US Payroll implementations
• Payroll/Time Functions + Features experience
• Knowledge of custom payroll functions
• Understanding of HR Payroll Execution Process, Time Infotypes, Benefits Infotypes, and Finance tables integration with SAP PY
• Execute enhancements/developments for large or small projects based on business requirements.
• Perform and develop SAP HCM RICEF objects.
• Time Management modules experience in Core HR and Talent Management

Desired Characteristics

• Experience using integration tools like Gentran Integration Suite™ (GIS) / Sterling Integrator
• Participate in SAP HANA implementation

Salary range: $145,000-$170,000 + performance bonus
