Job Overview
The Senior Manager, Group Product Management supports the fast-moving e-commerce team by driving the development of customer-centric user experiences and features that expand the customer base, increase user engagement, and enhance the overall site experience. This senior product leader shapes and executes both short- and long-term strategy and vision for their product area, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
What You Will Do
- Define and execute both short- and long-term strategies and vision for a product area.
- Lead enterprise or complex initiatives, often managing large pods with multiple interdependencies.
- Collaborate with pods, partners, and stakeholders to drive complex cross-functional projects with layered dependencies.
- Engage executive audiences through presentations and discussions, fostering productive, meaningful dialogue.
- Drive end-to-end discovery using diverse techniques to develop a multi-year product roadmap.
- Build trust and inspire followership by aligning colleagues around shared goals.
- Partner closely with engineering to optimize development cycles and translate technical requirements.
- Collaborate with the analytics team as a strategic thought partner.
- Structure experiments and expertly interpret test results.
- Maintain a prioritized backlog of well-groomed, insight-driven user stories.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback and guidance to team members and cross-functional partners, challenging when necessary.
- Keep leaders informed of progress, obstacles, and potential solutions.
- Mentor junior colleagues, supporting their growth across a range of product management skills.
- Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
