Audio Visual Field Engineer

Endeavor Consulting Group is looking for an Audio Visual Field Engineer (AVFE) with strong Crestron Control Systems Programming experiences. The AVFE needs to have strong presentation and communication skills as the role will include client facing sales support, installation and support. Additional experiences in fields like acoustics, electronics, music, sound, lighting, and/or video systems is a plus. Provide customer support before, during and after installations are complete

Responsibilities:

Work within our team to coordinate and complete all activities and tasks

Learn and work Endeavor business process and delivery approach

Program systems using Crestron, QSYS, AMX, QSYS Designer and Biamp DSP

Assist in commissioning a project’s video, audio, control, and network systems

Ensure that the technical aspects of each project are completed successfully

Maintain and update all project documentation accurately

Turn a system over to the Project Manager at 100% accuracy and completion

Provide customer support before, during and after installations are complete

Requirements

Strong organizational and communication skills

Very detail oriented on project documentation

Rich experience in A/V system integration design and function

Proven skills in installation techniques and National Electric Code (NEC) requirements

Experience with Crestron, AMX, QSC, BiAmp, and ClearOne control systems

Ability in designing and programming control systems and control system GUI’s

Design and program graphics using the following software: Cold Fusion, Photoshop, HTML, .NET, and C++

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or similar disciplines

Experience with C++, Visual Basic and HTML

Knowledge of standard software for DSP set-up, switcher set-up, etc.

Ability to troubleshoot audio, video, control systems problems

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to write iOS programs using Ruby, Python, Lua, Scheme, Lisp, Smalltalk, C#, Haskell, ActionScript, JavaScript, Objective-C, C++, C

Certifications preferred but not required:

• Crestron
• QSC Qsys Level II
• AMX
• Avixa CTS
• Government clearance level 1 (Secret) or level 2 (Top Secret)
