Job Summary: 

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Audiologist for a part-time, 2-day-a-week position to perform comprehensive hearing tests. This is a fee-for-service, 1099/per-unit opportunity. Availability on Monday, Thursday, or Friday is required.

The Audiologist will conduct audiological evaluations, proficiently analyze data, and prepare reports used in the evaluation of Social Security disability benefit applications.

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Medical Evaluations: Perform in-depth audiological assessments, including gathering audiometry, tympanometry, and hearing aid evaluations of applicants.
  • Diagnostic Interpretation: Analyze and interpret diagnostic tests and medical data.
  • Report Writing: Create a comprehensive medical report including accurate and complete descriptions of the applicant’s condition(s).
  • Data Submission: Utilize our user-friendly report generation platform to submit your report quickly and easily.

  

Qualifications: 

  • Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree.
  • Valid state audiology licensure and ASHA certification.
  • Proficiency in audiometric testing and evaluation.
  • Experience in a medical office setting or private practice is preferred.
