Key Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to architecture, development, and maintenance of Snowflake database. 

  • Develop and oversee CI/CD pipelines for database integration with GitHub. 

  • Implement and enforce database change management protocols to ensure that all database modifications are systematically reviewed, approved, and documented. 

  • Develop and manage ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse. 

  • Establish and maintain data validation processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. 

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, architecture, and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding. 

  • Work closely with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making and provide insights. 

  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve data systems and processes, incorporating feedback and new technologies. 

Required Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on computer science, data engineering, or related field. 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Data Engineering role, with demonstrated knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices. 

  • Strong proficiency with SQL, git, and database change management frameworks like schemachange. 

  • Experience working with the Snowflake platform. 

  • Self-starter who takes initiative and actively contributes ideas to enhance business solutions. 

  • Uncompromising attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving, with good data intuition (i.e., an ability to look at results and assess their reasonableness) 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced matrixed environment, with a results-driven team-oriented culture. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with Python & functional programming 

  • Exposure to Snowpark API 

  • Proficiency in agile methodologies such as Kanban or Sprints 

  • Healthcare industry experience preferred 

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $75,504.00 - $134,521.77 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
