Salary: Base Pay $90,000 to $105,000 per annum.

Job Description

This role, as the Responsible Manager, requires leading the Maintenance and Quality Control Teams to ensure all employees are taken care of, given the proper training, provided with the required safety equipment and ensured a safe and secure work environment.  The Manager will have the responsibility to accurately maintain an exceptional level of quality of all ground support equipment and ensure all work is performed safely and is supported by established regulations, procedures, policies and protocols.

This role requires a skilled leader with a strong operational and business acumen, and participative teamwork skills. The selected candidate must have the ability to run the operation in a challenging and dynamic environment, while maintaining strict adherence to all Menzies Aviation policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Directing and motivating employees to achieve agreed targets.
• Ensure safe and secure operations, in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security and all government statutory requirements.
• Directs a preventative maintenance program to minimize cost and maximize use of equipment.
• Detailed record keeping of all vehicles and equipment.
• Organization and tracking of expenses, budget control.
• Administers a testing and inspection program to determine quality, suitability, and compliance with specifications for equipment, vehicles, parts accessories, and materials.
• Directs a quantity and quality control program to maintain satisfactory levels of work performance.
• Plans, organizes, and directs the work of the duties to meet objectives with the most efficient use of personnel, facilities, and equipment.
• Required to attend the mandatory training required by the Company, Airlines and Regulators.
• Comply with the company’s attendance and tardiness standards.
• Assist in establishing the annual operating plan/Budget for the Company and the Business Monitor operating performance across business units Assist in hiring and developing training programs cultivate a good working relationship local Airport Authority and other appropriate government representatives.
