Sr. Manager, Pharmacy Production Floor

This role is located Onsite and requires availability for our 1:30PM - 10:00PM EST shift.

Job Summary:

The Sr, Manager, Production Floor assists the Pharmacy Director of SelectRx, Pharmacist Supervisors, and staff to ensure operational measures are obtained and helps support the management of the pharmacy staff internally and externally.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Supports Quality Improvement for the department by:
• Assisting the manager/assistant manager in delivering and maintaining employee PIPs and/or corrective actions
• Assisting the manager/assistant manager in improving processes in production

• Supports and supervises departmental personnel including: orientation, training, monitoring, determining workload and delegating assignments, scheduling and evaluating performance (on an annual basis or as needed with Pharmacy Manager), and support the corrective and disciplinary actions

• Participates and assists in the screening, interviewing and evaluation of employee candidates, while also making recommendations to hire, promote, or discipline current employees while coordinating and implementing teamwork
• Operates within the professional standards in compliance with Federal, State, Local, and Business regulations while enforcing the laws regarding the practice of pharmacy
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager

Education and Experience:

• Willing to earn pharmacy technician license.
• 5-7+ years leading in fast paced, metric driven teams
• 2+ years experience in clinical manufacturing preferred
• College Degree preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with six sigma principles, six sigma green or yellow belt preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Requires ability to stand for multiple hours at a time
