You can also work remotely worldwide for a maximum of 90 days per year.</strong></p><p></p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><h3>Your future team</h3><p>The Trust Engagement team is a globally distributed group of Security and Risk professionals committed to building and enhancing customer trust in both our Cloud and On-Premise Products. We thrive by embracing diverse perspectives and leveraging creativity to engage in innovative initiatives that drive our mission forward. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with the entire Atlassian team to enhance our Trust program, refine our Trust narrative, and engage directly with complex customer Trust requests.</p><h3>What you'll do</h3><ul><li><p><strong>Represent Atlassian</strong> to Strategic & Enterprise customers, managing trust-related questions and concerns across customer acquisition, migration, and long-term retention.</p></li><li><p><strong>Engage in customer-facing initiatives</strong>, focusing on articulating Atlassian’s commitment to Trust, including our Security practices, Compliance posture, Privacy measures, Resilience efforts, and Anti-Abuse program.</p></li><li><p><strong>Manage complex security reviews & audits</strong>, ensuring customer needs are met effectively.</p></li><li><p><strong>Support legal teams</strong> in negotiating security and compliance terms & exhibits for customer agreements.</p></li><li><p><strong>Be the Voice of the Customer</strong>, identifying blockers and friction points to influence Security, Product, and Engineering strategies.</p></li><li><p><strong>Develop and drive customer-facing Trust collateral</strong>, including materials, presentations, and white papers.</p></li><li><p><strong>Provide education and training</strong> to internal teams (Sales, Product Marketing, Legal) on security, compliance, and privacy topics.</p></li><li><p><strong>Mentor the team</strong> through technical leadership, fostering knowledge-sharing and growth.</p></li></ul><p></p><h3>Qualifications</h3><h3>Your background</h3><ul><li><p>7+ years of experience in Security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance, with <strong>direct customer-facing</strong> or <strong>consulting experience</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Expertise in leading discussions on <strong>security</strong> and risk trade-offs with decision-makers, executives, or board members.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of security, compliance, and privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, ISO27001, NIST 800-53, PCI-DSS, C5, DORA, NIS2).</p></li><li><p>Proven experience in <strong>Cloud Security</strong>, <strong>Regulatory Compliance</strong>, <strong>Global Privacy Programs</strong>, or similar functions, particularly in large-scale enterprise SaaS platforms.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with cybersecurity principles, controls, and SaaS infrastructure, including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and multi-tenant architectures.</p></li><li><p>Ability to drive and manage customer audits and assessments, ensuring adherence to security policies and controls.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills, with the ability to create impactful presentations and effectively engage with customers, internal teams, and leadership.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the capacity to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>#LI-Remote</p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><p>At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn, we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline.
