The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

1What Is the Opportunity?
As a Director in the Enterprise Engineering Office, you will report to and partner with the Enterprise Engineering Office leader to drive intelligent automation, AI adoption and advance best practices across our engineering organization. You will work closely with Engineering Chapter Leads, Organizational Change Management, tool owners in ETS, and architecture teams to establish evaluation frameworks, support standards decisions, and ensure all engineering personas benefit from modern development capabilities.What Will You Do?
This is an opportunity to support our engineering development lifecycle through strategic automation and tooling decisions. As a Director, you will:
- Partner with Engineering Chapter Leads across Software, Data, & Analytics to understand their teams' automation needs and tooling challenges.
- Lead change management efforts for automation, AI adoption, best practice implementation and new ways of working, creating strategies that drive sustainable behavioral change across engineering teams.
- Collaborate with engineering tool owners and architecture within ETS to evaluate and implement AI-powered development tools (coding assistants, automated testing, intelligent monitoring) that serve all engineering personas.
- Work with Enterprise Architecture to document tool decisions, integration patterns, and standards that apply across all engineering disciplines.
- Build evaluation frameworks for automation and AI capabilities, helping teams make informed decisions based on security, cost, productivity, and compliance factors.
- Support the transformation office's SDLC+ initiative while identifying opportunities to apply learnings to other development lifecycles across the enterprise.
- Facilitate forums where Chapter Leads, tool owners, and architects align on technology choices and share adoption experiences.
- Work with architecture teams in documenting key standards decisions and their implementation across chapters.
- Create adoption strategies that recognize each chapter's unique development lifecycle requirements while identifying common automation patterns.
- Measure and communicate automation impact across various development lifecycles, from traditional software to analytics workflows.
- Build relationships with teams driving lifecycle transformations to understand how automation can accelerate their initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Strong change management experience with proven ability to drive technology adoption across diverse engineering teams.
- Track record of applying change management learnings from one domain to accelerate transformation in others.
- Experience partnering with engineering leadership, enterprise architecture, and platform teams to drive tooling decisions.
- Understanding of various development lifecycles (software, analytics, modeling) and how change management approaches differ for each.
- Skills in building and leading change champion networks within technical organizations.
- Experience creating evaluation frameworks that balance innovation with enterprise requirements.
- Program management expertise with focus on the people side of technical transformations.
- Ability to design change strategies that address resistance and build enthusiasm for new ways of working.
- Understanding of modern engineering tools landscape and the behavioral changes required for adoption.
- Experience measuring and communicating both hard metrics and soft adoption indicators.
- Knowledge of what makes technical change initiatives succeed or fail in complex
