Senior Project Advisor

What does a successful Senior Project Management Advisor do? 

As a Senior Project Management Advisor,  your role will involve supporting the project portfolio director in managing the project portfolio for a major client. This will involve overseeing and coordinating various projects within a broader program portfolio, ensuring they are aligned with the strategic objectives of both Fiserv and the client. You will be responsible for managing risks, scope, schedules, stakeholder communication, and resource allocation for all initiatives.

 

What you will do:

• Support management of a portfolio of between 150-200 active projects / programs.
• Provide program management support and reporting post contract and execute required development across relevant segments and functions.
• Manage program level scope, change and high-level program milestones and project plans.
• Develop relationships with internal and client product managers to ensure product roadmaps are aligned to deliver needed enhancements and to coordinate timing of delivery.
• Oversee the successful delivery of implementation and certification projects; support a cross functional project team of Fiserv Professionals as they work with our clients and ensure a quality client experience. 
• Identify, implement, and document process improvements to speed ROI and enhance client experience.
• Effectively communicate and escalate important issues and service gaps to ensure prompt resolution of client concerns related to implementation efforts.
• Facilitate both internal and external program status meetings to foster alignment throughout the organization.

 

What you will need to have:

• 5+ years of merchant acquiring experience or relevant payment processing experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project or Program Management creating/maintaining project plans.
• 5+ years of experience in effectively driving project implementations.
• 5+ years of experience with process improvement identification and implementation.
• 5+ years of experience with creating or editing executive level presentations  
• Experience implementing projects using Agile methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.

 

What would be great to have: 

• Possession of professional certifications, such as PMP and Six Sigma.
• Advanced degree in business administration or operations.  
• Familiarity with Fiserv systems and knowledge of how they operate.

Important information about this role:

• This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
• Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.
• In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
• This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
