Law Professor / Subject Matter Expert in Florida Trusts Law-(REMOTE, CONTRACT)

Quimbee has a massive digital library of content designed to help law students and attorneys succeed, every step of the way. We're looking to expand our team of talented professionals.

Quimbee is seeking an educator with strong subject-matter expertise in Florida trusts law to revise and update comprehensive course materials designed to assist individuals preparing to take the Florida bar exam. This is a part-time, project-based hire, with a completion date of December 31, 2023.

As an author on the project, you'll work collaboratively with Quimbee's editorial team to ensure that your work is the best it possibly can be. You'll master Quimbee's editorial and stylistic requirements to ensure that Quimbee delivers quality content to students on time, every time.

The position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

• Advise on outline and video materials related to Florida trusts law to assist with the update of a robust Florida bar exam instructional course
• Participate in the editorial process with a non-attorney copy editor

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Florida trusts law as it is currently tested on the Florida bar exam 
• Successful passage of the Florida Bar exam
• Graduate of an ABA-accredited U.S. Law School
• Excellent communication skills
• High-speed internet connection

Preferred Qualifications

• Track record of successfully assisting students with passing the Florida bar exam
• JD from a Tier 1 law school
• Minimum of one year experience in legal publishing or legal education
• Graduation at the top of your class
• Journal or law review experience
• Publication history
