Join us today and experience Life at Visa.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for design and implementation of the Token ID Token Services Platform that powers tokenization of cards across the globe. You be will responsible for developing mission critical services that enables the payment processing in secured way. Must be able to coordinate and manage input from business and technology stakeholders across the enterprise and be responsible for the design and execution of large-scale initiatives. </p><p>You will drive development of multiple applications, prototype new solutions using Generative AI and feature ideas and explore new technologies that are at the forefront of backend development.</p><p>We are looking for someone with serious development skills, strong interests in all things related to backend, and a passion for delivering high quality, rock-solid code. ​</p><p>You will play part of teams tasked with multiple projects ranging from building full stack development of real-time transactional services, REST services API, Container based services to highly functional, secure, and scalable. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Basic Qualifications</p><ul><li>2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors or Advanced degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>The candidate should have extensive experience in Java programming, including a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles, data structures and algorithms.</li><li>Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Data, Spring Core, REST, JPA , Hibernate, Caching is must.</li><li>Demonstrated programming skills in one or more languages: Java, Python, Go, Erlang, Ruby, or C/C++</li><li>Experience with Build Tools (Maven/Gradle)</li><li>Solid experience on Relation databases like Postgres or Oracle. NoSQL knowledge is plus.</li><li>Experience with solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, source control (git) and CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.</li><li>The candidate should have strong problem-solving skills to understand, analyze, and solve complex problems.</li><li>The candidate should be skilled at reviewing code for errors and potential improvements and be proficient at debugging issues.</li><li>Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.</li><li>The candidate should have strong collaboration and communication skills, as software development is often a team effort.</li><li>Experience with Agile development methodology.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Visa is an EEO Employer.
