Position Summary

The Regional Corporate Clinical Trainer (LVN/LPN/CMA) is responsible for delivering high-quality clinical training, education, and support across designated Urology Clinics of North Texas (UCNT) locations. This role ensures consistency in clinical standards, promotes patient safety, and supports newly hired and existing clinical staff. The trainer will travel within their assigned region and serve as a key resource for onboarding, competency validation, and ongoing staff development.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Training & Education


Provide comprehensive onboarding, clinical orientation, and skills training for new LVNs, MAs, and clinical support staff.


Conduct ongoing annual training, re-training, skills refreshers, and competency assessments.


Deliver continuous clinical support and check-ins with new hires throughout their orientation period.


Educate staff on current UCNT policies, procedures, workflows, protocols, and best practices.


Develop, update, and maintain training resources including manuals, checklists, training modules, and competency documents.


Ensure all training documentation is accurate, current, and compliant with internal and regulatory standards.

2. Regional Support & Travel


Travel routinely to assigned clinics within the region (e.g., North: Plano, Allen, McKinney; South: Dallas clinics; East: Garland, Rockwall, Mesquite; West: Carrollton, Grapevine, Fort Worth, Denton).


Provide on-site coaching, real-time skills observation, and hands-on support to clinical staff.


Perform retraining or remediation for staff requiring additional support.


Assist clinic leadership in maintaining compliance, safety standards, readiness for audits, and adherence to clinical protocols.


Identify workflow or clinical practice gaps and help implement process improvements.

3. Collaboration & Clinical Operations


Partner with Clinical Operations, Corporate Training, and Human Resources to align training practices and ensure consistency across all UCNT sites.


Support onboarding documentation requirements including Hep B, TB testing, immunization records, competency checklists, and other compliance items.


Stay up to date on EMR changes, clinical guidelines, UCNT workflows, and urology-specific clinical protocols.


Assist with quality initiatives, patient safety projects, and operational efficiency efforts.


Serve as a subject matter expert for clinical practices, documentation accuracy, and patient-care standards.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements


Frequent travel between clinic locations within assigned region.


Work performed in outpatient clinical settings.


Requires standing, walking, bending, and assisting with clinical demonstrations.


Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed for training equipment or supplies.

Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential OR active Texas LVN/LPN license.


Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, specialty practice, or similar healthcare environment.


Strong clinical skills and knowledge of outpatient patient-care workflows.


Strong communication, presentation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.


Ability to confidently teach and provide constructive feedback to employees with varying levels of experience.


Strong organizational and time-management skills.


Experience using EMR systems and clinical documentation workflows.


Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard business applications.


Ability and willingness to travel frequently between clinics within an assigned DFW region.

Strongly Preferred:


Previous experience as a clinical trainer, clinical educator, preceptor, lead MA/LVN, or clinical operations resource.


Experience developing or delivering structured clinical training programs.


Experience conducting competency assessments and skills validations.


Multi-site outpatient or specialty practice experience.


Urology or surgical specialty experience.


Experience training employees on EMR workflows and clinical documentation standards.
