$65,000.00 - $75,000.12 Annually $2,500.00 - $2,884.62 Bi-weekly
Position Summary
The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources professional to serve as a Classification Analyst within the Office of Human Resources. This position plays a critical role in supporting the Agency's workforce by coordinating organizational management, classification, compensation, and organizational structure activities.
The selected candidate will analyze organizational management actions, prepare classification and reclassification packages, maintain agency organizational structures within the People First Human Resource Information System (HRIS), develop organizational charts, and provide consultation regarding organizational management.
The Work You Will Do
- Serve as the Classification and Compensation Lead Analyst.
- Independently analyze, prepare, and process classification packages, including position establishments, transfers, reclassifications, and organizational restructuring.
- Research, investigate, and analyze problems and concerns relative to classification, pay, and position control.
- Complete the desk audit process.
- Provide consultation and technical assistance to the agency by responding to questions and providing interpretations of the state and agency rules and policy.
- Make classification and compensation recommendations that prevent rule violations to leadership, managers, and supervisors.
- Review and analyze position descriptions to determine appropriate classification and organizational placement in accordance with the State Personnel System Broadband Classification Plan.
