Job Description
The Senior Vice President (SVP), Enterprise Solutions, will report to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), be a member of the Technology Leadership Team, and more importantly, be a key driver and contributor the development and execution of the Vuori’s Technology strategy.
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Vice President of Enterprise Solutions to lead and oversee the management and strategic direction of Vuori’s corporate software applications that are integral to the operation and growth of our company.
This role will play a critical part in driving innovation, efficiency, and seamless integration across various business functions, including, but not limited to, ERP (Finance, Sales, Operations), Planning, Product Life Cycle Management (PLM), HCM/HRIS, Returns Platform, Warehouse Management Software (WMS), Integrations/Middleware, and other critical enterprise systems to support the evolutionary growth of Vuori.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of core corporate software applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute a comprehensive enterprise software strategy that supports the company's long-term goals and fosters operational excellence.
- Lead a cross-functional team of Technology professionals, including application architects, developers, analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to enterprise software, negotiating terms, and ensuring optimal value for the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts, leveraging data analytics and insights to identify areas for enhancement, streamline processes, and optimize system performance.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in enterprise software solutions to proactively recommend and implement innovative solutions that drive competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to understand their software needs, address pain points, and develop tailored solutions that improve business processes.
- Develop and manage the enterprise solutions budget, allocating resources effectively to support the ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of software applications.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations, maintaining a robust cybersecurity posture for all enterprise systems.
- Provide regular status reports, updates, and presentations to executive leadership, communicating project progress, risks, and strategic recommendations.
- Working experience in leading software engineering organizations in design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, high-volume software systems and components.
- Deep expertise in architecting and managing interconnected ERP’s (such as Microsoft Dynamics365, Oracle EBS and/or SAP), HCM/HRIS, CRM, Supply Chain and Call Center platforms.
- Success in transforming engineering practices to adopt DevOps, CI/CD and automation practices, and agile methodologies, while also aligning to more traditional waterfall-based governance constructs organization-wide.
- Strong understanding of current trends in technology, software development, and modern data architecture, including Serverless computing, Microservices, APIs, and Cloud (Azure, AWS, etc).
- Enterprise Architecture – the ability to leverage industry standard EA methods to document current architectures in alignment with business processes, while also building prioritized technology roadmaps that map to approved future-state architectures.
