The Role: Strategic Clients Manager
As we continue to expand across the Americas, we are looking for a Manager, Strategic Clients to join our dynamic team!
As part of the Strategic Clients Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving success with existing clients across banks and fintechs in Brazil and the Americas. This includes developing and executing growth strategies for clients, managing the end-to-end client relationships, and driving loyalty and rewards campaign activities.
Proficiency in Portuguese is essential, as this role will also involve supporting key clients in Brazil.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, has an eye for detail, and knows how to make things happen — especially when it comes to managing complex client relationships.
Your impact
- Manage Ascenda’s strategic bank and fintech clients in Brazil, building deep, trusted relationships by understanding their needs, identifying opportunities to support their objectives and helping them to achieve loyal relationships with their customers. Additionally, own or support day-to-day relationships with other key clients across the America’s region.
- Prepare and deliver dynamic client presentations to showcase the value of our services and influence further client adoption of Ascenda products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Partnerships, Product and Engineering to support and implement client initiatives.
- Ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day tasks and escalations across customer service, technology, marketing, legal, and reporting functions
- Lead the end-to-end development and execution of marketing campaigns, including gaining client approvals and tracking deliverables
- Facilitate legal and compliance documentation such as NDAs and basic authorization notices
- Monitor and analyze client metrics to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Perform industry research to support the Strategic Clients Team in providing insights and recommendations for clients' growth.
- Perform other ad hoc job-related duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and high-energy
- Min. 6 years of working experience with 3-4 years of experience in client-facing roles such as customer success, account management, or partnerships within the loyalty industry
- Experience in card payments and or loyalty in a relationship management capacity. Product marketing experience is a plus.
- Naturally curious, eager to learn, and always aware of industry trends
- Structured thinker and communicator who presents ideas in a simple, actionable manner
- Natural collaborator who makes decisions considering the impact on the whole business
- Proactive and possess a strong ability to navigate and work independently within a fast-paced and changing work environment
- Strong ability in project management and a proven track record of efficiently handling multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely completion with high quality
- Excellent communication in both Portuguese and English with good relationship management skills — confident interacting with internal & external stakeholders
- Comfortable with numbers, strong ability to monitor and analyze performance, develop insights and tell compelling stories
- Cultural sensitivity and an ability to develop strong relationships with clients from different cultures and backgrounds around the world
“The salary range for this position is between $95,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience and location”
