Job Description
AHRC NYC is looking to hire an Assistant Regional Manager (ARM) for their Hudson River Services division. Reporting to the Senior Regional Manager, the ARM position plays a key leadership role within Hudson River Services, managing day to day operations of assigned commercial cleaning accounts throughout the borough of Manhattan. At times the ARM may be required to assist managers or be assigned projects in other regions/boroughs.
SALARY: $63,000 per year plus a comprehensive Benefit package. See Benefit information below.
SCHEDULE: The schedule varies, and will be determined by the locations assigned, including nights and a few weekends a year.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage and track all site specific scope of work and budgetary constraints
- Manage labor hours, worker schedules, periodical schedules, and back up labor
- Perform quality insurance inspections of assigned accounts
- Manage/monitor budgets, and order supplies and equipment
- Monitor and manage staff PTO
- Manage and resolve customer service issues
- Train staff on proper cleaning procedures
- Complete weekly payroll
- Conduct annual performance reviews with staff
- Collect/track all monthly billing requirements
- Keep accurate files on all subordinates
- Lead by example
Qualifications
- Must have 5 years of supervisory experience
- Must have commercial cleaning experience
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including at times evenings and/or weekends
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED (College preferred)
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be well organized, highly motivated, and proactive.
- Must be a professional with an analytical capacity.
- A valid driver’s license...owning a vehicle preferred.
