Job Overview
The Assistant Director of Events is responsible for events and communications management for the SFS Dean’s Office and a portfolio of other SFS departments and programs.
Work Interactions and Work Mode Designation
Reporting to the SFS Director of Events, the Assistant Director of Events works closely with the Executive Director of External Relations and Marketing, the SFS Director of Communications and the Communications team, the administrators and staff of the SFS Dean’s Office, and multiple SFS programs.
This position has been designated as Hybrid. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of experience in event management and communications or closely related experience – preference for that experience in higher education
- Proficiency in technologies related to the duties of the position, including social media and marketing
- High level of organization and attention to detail
Preferred Qualification
An interest in international relations
