Real Chemistry is looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst to join our growing team!  

The SR. HRIS Analyst - Workday is responsible for the day-to-day systems support of the HR Business Team, specializing in Workday. This position will work closely with HR Team members to ensure data accuracy, system efficiency, and assist with any reporting needs in Workday. The appropriate candidate will have the opportunity to lead various HRIS projects such as system upgrades, business process enhancements, and open enrollment configurations. The ideal candidate will have experience in Workday reporting and business processes, Absence, Benefits, and Advanced Compensation being a plus. This role is a great opportunity to learn and build off prior Workday experience in a growing global organization.

This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs.

What you’ll do: 

  • Coordinate discussions and requirement gathering across various functions and teams.

  • Manage the HRIS ticketing system queue to help resolve day-to-day items that arise.

  • Provide testing support on various projects.

  • Partner with HR functions to build custom reports for dashboards and metrics.

  • Lead the Open Enrollment for Benefits on an annual basis.

  • Troubleshoot integrations related to Benefits.

  • Assist with multiple HRIS projects to support the HRIS roadmap, inclusive of enhancements, new implementations and integrations.

  • Perform weekly audits to ensure data accuracy.

  • Provide system support and maintenance for Workday’s bi-annual upgrades.

  • Collaborate with HR Team and other stakeholders to enhance system functionalities.

  • Support HR Operations by troubleshooting and resolving system issues.

  • Participate in the implementation of new Workday modules.

What you should have:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 2-5 years of Functional experience using and supporting Workday, 3 – 5 years using other HCM systems. Total of 7+ years in HRIS.

  • Advanced knowledge of Workday modules including HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, and Reporting.

  • Experience outlining business requirements, business process design, and documentation of system changes.

  • Advanced knowledge of data flow and understanding of payroll requirements related to benefits and absence.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable insights.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and/or participating in HRIS projects.

  • Project management skills with experience managing HRIS projects from inception to completion.

  • Strong functional knowledge and experience.

  • Some technical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and figure out what the solution.

  • Desire to learn and take on new challenges.
