A senior Systems Engineer who displays overall technical leadership and makes a substantial contribution to the innovation of products.  He/she develops new technologies/products/systems.

You are responsible for

  • Leading technical teams who are developing innovative IPL technologies/products/systems and you bring these to live

  • Offering integrated solutions by working together with experts from different engineering and non-engineering domains (e.g. mechanical, electrical, software, clinical, quality a.o.)

  • Safeguarding development logic in product development projects to be able to make the right decisions at the right time.

  • Maintaining traceability throughout the V-model development process; from translating high level requirements to lower-level requirements; and from translating requirements into designs and ensuring these are verified

  • Supporting continuous improvement activities of the way of working in the Systems Engineering group (e.g. adoption of Model Based Systems Engineering, SAFE Agile etc.)

You are the right fit if :

  • You have experience in a lead engineering role (involving multiple domains) >5 yrs and educational background in MSc degree in Systems Engineering, (applied) Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively, since you will be working with many disciplines and people from various departments across the world

  • Experienced with consumer medical product development and familiar with design controls to comply with FDA, ISO 13485, EUMDR and other regulatory requirements

  • Possessing knowledge of and experience with modeling / simulation methods & tools (preferably experience with CREO, Ansys, Matlab, Cameo)

  • Experienced with requirements management tools (preferably DOORS)

  • Analyze data proven by a certification in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)
