Sentara Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Outpatient Behavioral Health Care Center located in Newport News, VA. Position Highlights:
- Collaborative team environment with 2 Advanced Practice Providers and 2 Therapists
- Standard work schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Diverse patient population, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, and substance use disorders
- Manage an average daily caseload of 13–14 patients
- Visit structure includes 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up appointments
- Responsibilities include care for new and established patients (primarily adults), medication management, and responding to MyChart messages
