The Reporting and Analytics Senior Analyst will support the Glenn College faculty lead in the development and execution of a comprehensive, multi-dimensional evaluation strategy for the SECURE Center—a national initiative focused on strengthening the U.S. research enterprise through community service, transparency, and access. This role will ensure that the SECURE Center’s activities are rigorously assessed for effectiveness, and alignment with NSF strategic objectives. The evaluator will assist in the implementation of formative assessments and in the design and implementation of a summative assessment, focusing on trust-building, transparency, and access across a wide range of research stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluation Design, Refinement & Implementation
- Develop an operational evaluation plan aligned with SECURE’s three core pillars: Service to the Community, Transparency and Open Science, and Access.
- Create logic models, evaluation frameworks, and performance indicators tailored to SECURE’s evolving services.
- Design mechanisms to assess co-creation processes, stakeholder trust, and community engagement.
Data Collection & Analysis
- Conduct mixed-methods data collection (e.g., surveys, interviews, focus groups, project management tool metrics ) across academic, government, and industry partners.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to assess program effectiveness, transparency, and accessibility.
- Ensure data privacy, integrity, and compliance with federal research security standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build stakeholder trust and assess perceptions of transparency and protection.
- Evaluate the inclusivity and accessibility of SECURE’s services for ERIs, MSIs, and HBCUs.
- Facilitate structured feedback loops to inform continuous improvement.
Reporting & Communication
- Identify lessons learned and translate them into future program enhancements.
- Monitor the impact of SECURE’s services on stakeholder security and integrity outcomes.
- Support adaptive evaluation as new services and tools are deployed.
- Produce timely evaluation reports (quarterly, annual, and summative) with actionable insights.
- Present findings to internal teams, NSF, and external partners.
- Contribute to scholarly publications and strategic planning documents.
Additional Information:
This is a 100% grant-funded, one-year position, renewable for up to three years based on funding and performance.
