About the role
DUTIES:
- Provides supervisory oversight of assigned employees conducting warehousing operations in accordance with JRTC Mission support Contract PWS and Branch Standards.
- Maintain 100% accountability of all TES equipment and property in assigned warehouse.
- Issue and turn-in TES equipment to Rotational Training Units.
- Performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the established storage plan procedures, supply acquisition, and battery charging requirements; daily duties include, but are not limited to: key custodian, record keeping, acquisition of consumable supplies/equipment for rotational requirements, verifying supplies (or equipment) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, delivery of materials to various storage and operating locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials and equipment, preparing MILES equipment for shipment, charging batteries for rotational use.
- Must be able to receive and maintain TS-MATS access.
- Receive equipment out of maintenance as needed.
- Required to operate hand or power trucks or forklifts while performing warehousing duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experience: ·
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Functional abilities with basic mathematics.
- Functional abilities with computers including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently when needed.
Desired Experience
- Previous experience as a warehouse worker or previous military experience working in battalion-size (or equivalent) logistics (S4) operations.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in the military or civilian equivalent.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be in good physical condition capable of prolonged sitting, standing and walking. ·
- Must be able to repeatedly lift heavy or bulky objects up to 25 LBS. ·
- Must be able to work all shifts. ·
- Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries. ·
- Individual must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening, will be subject to random drug screening. ·
- Must possess a valid Louisiana State Driver’s License (or equivalent). ·
- Employment contingent upon favorable background investigation.
