Job Summary:
The Student WBL Intern will work in various areas of the health system to gain valuable skills and experience in a healthcare environment. This Intern will be responsible for assisting the department in areas identified by the hiring manager and may provide administrative, technical, analytical and/or other tasks. Student WBL Intern must be actively enrolled in Columbia County or Richmond County high school work-based learning program.Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Completion of tasks/duties: Responsible for fulfilling tasks/duties as assigned within the department. Observation/Job Shadowing: Job shadowing of department manager, mentor, and/or other staff within the department. Collaboration: Collaborates with others within and outside of the department to complete tasks/assignments. Assists others. Customer service: Positive interactions with management, co-workers, patients, families and visitors. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.Required Minimum Education:
