Sayres Defense is looking for talented individuals like you to join our team as a Junior Production Data Analyst supporting the DDG 51 program based in Washington, DC and will support Hybrid/Remote at Washington Navy Yard. This is an exciting opportunity to jumpstart your career and make a significant impact in the maritime defense industry.

As a Junior Production Data Analyst, you will analyze production management by utilizing historical data to identify ship production trends, forecast outcomes, and assess the progress of ship production. You will gather data from Government databases and ship construction deliverables to develop insightful analyses of production issues. Additionally, you will coordinate and prepare Ship Program Review (SPR) briefs, Trials and Delivery briefs, Quarterly Execution Reviews (QERs), and other key presentations. Reviewing production-related deliverables under Ship Construction contracts to ensure accuracy and contractual compliance, and reporting findings to the DDG 51 Class Data Monitor will also be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma with at least three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • You should have at least 1-year maritime experience within the Navy or shipbuilding industry (internships may qualify).
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, conducting, or coordinating detailed phases of engineering-related tasks is essential.
  • You should be proficient in applying financial and production principles and techniques to develop complex specifications and procedures, analyze designs, and evaluate technical information.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively interface with customers, stakeholders, and industry personnel.
  • An active Secret security clearance verifiable in DISS or the ability to obtain one is required.
