OVERVIEW
The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. This position provides Human Resources guidance, and integral project support to the HRBP/Talent Management organization in areas related to Onboarding, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, communications and development, The position reports to Sr. Director of HR but also provides support two other HR Directors. Location Bedford, Hybrid in office.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Organize and Manage onboarding new employee orientation and training program.
Administers various human resource programs and procedures for employees; assists in the development and implementation of employee policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies.
HR Policy Management - Partners with HR Director to review, update, and communicate human resource policies related to the employee handbook.
Assist with the daily operations and project management of the HRBP/Talent department team with organizing training & development and other HR initiatives.
Monitors the performance review program and revises as necessary, runs reports. Organize Goals and annual employee performance reviews.
Oversee Termination process, conducts exit interviews, analyze data, runs turnover reports, and identifies patterns and trends. In addition, ensures proper notification of employee’s terminations internally for compliances.
Manages the Co- Op Program at Lantheus. The day-to-day questions, events, development and on boarding and offboarding.
May manage employee relations counseling, collaborates with leaders on employee performance concerns. Employee Relations - Tracks employee corrective actions, Partners with the HRBPs to make recommendations to management team for corrective action & continuous improvement, responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment, or discrimination.
Processes HR Forms and May generate HR Documents such as Offer Letters, Warning Letters and Severance Documents and DocuSign.
Drafting templates for HR documents and collaborating with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for employees.
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, time to hire and employee turnover rates.
May respond to initial employee questions as they arise.
Performs other duties as required.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
5 + years Proven experience in HR Generalist experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Exhibits advanced wide-ranging experience, using in-depth professional knowledge, acumen, concepts, and company objectives to develop, resolve complex models and procedures.
Provides solutions to issues in creative and effective ways. Understands the interrelationships of different disciplines.
Understands and works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
Exercises judgment in selecting methods, evaluating, adapting of complex techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Work is reviewed upon completion and is consistent with departmental objectives.
Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Adapts style and uses persuasion in delivering messages that relate to the wider firm business.
Aptitude in problem solving.
Excellent Communication skills.
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office. Excel: HRIS systems (e.g., UKG) will be a plus.
Strong interpersonal, communication, relationship building and influencing skills.
