SUMMARY
The individual in this position will perform the duties under the supervision of a Project Manager & Superintendent. The individual will monitor and administer the QA/QC Program while ensuring incorporated materials are following plans and specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Create a quality control plan that meets the Owner’s requirements
Attend meetings with the Owner to go over quality plans and strategies
Make quality inspections and create reports to track inspections
Control the distribution of all project quality documentation.
Ensure the verification of documentation and certificates for materials purchased and delivered by vendors.
Attend all preconstruction meetings and coordinate all QA / QC project requirements with subcontractors.
Oversee all QA / QC meetings.
Maintain weekly 360 progress photos.
Coordinate all quality related correspondence with the client and its representatives, Architects, Engineers, and Consultants.
Issuance and tracking of all Observations and Non-Conformance Reports.
Update the project Document Control room from a QA / QC perspective.
Perform work in a safe manager and actively encourage others to do the same.
Skills and Competencies required to perform tasks:
Understand project specific QA/QC requirements and be able to inspect items to ensure they meet the standards
Effective oral and written skills for client presentations and technical reporting and correspondence.
Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of project team, client, and others.
Knowledge of contract negotiation and administration.
Other project-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Technical and contract knowledge in scheduling, estimating, contract administration, and cost control.
Good working knowledge of computer software.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with others.
Essential Equipment and Software:
Knowledge of all applicable construction computer software and hardware, including Procore and Structure Site
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in construction administration of large multimillion-dollar projects. The ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple assignments and tasks for one or more projects, and good verbal and written communication skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company information.
Report progress on assigned tasks to supervisor.
Assist other team members as needed to meet the team's goals.
Work more than 40-hour work week may be required.
Must be able to physically operate a computer, including keyboard and mouse.
Must be able to physically access working areas of a construction project site.
Must be able to travel to project sites as needed to perform essential duties.
Must be able to travel to meet with management, clients, vendors, partners, or associations; or to attend conferences or training, as needed to perform essential duties.
