About the role

The Special Projects Sourcing Manager will be responsible for managing the sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationships for LED components and materials required for high-impact specialized projects. This role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers that can meet the unique technical, quality, and cost requirements for custom LED signage solutions typically reserved for Aristocrat’s most important customers. The position requires close collaboration with gaming operations, engineering, supply planning, and other project teams to ensure timely and efficient sourcing of LED signage and related technologies for high-impact projects.

Core focus includes gathering and managing accurate data for strategic initiatives that drive down cost, lead-time, and risk across the product portfolio. Strategic sourcing and procurement is highly focused on world class cost management. Responsible for driving down cost through "could be" and "should be" cost structures, benchmarks, and supply chain/commodity analysis.

The position will interact frequently with Senior Director – Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) , Director Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS-CM), VP of Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS), Engineering, Product Marketing, Strategic Procurement Managers, Strategy teams, and cost analysts in various worldwide locations. Further engaging engineering resources, various suppliers, their sales, and leadership teams.

This role will utilize high levels of critical thinking skills. The successful candidate will support a moderate to large team to procure mechanical and or electrical commodities and select and assist in developing the supply base with technologies and mechanical processes. They will help develop, implement, and manage the procurement strategies, process and tools, and system requirements to improve cost, quality and productivity. Additionally, support the sourcing director in managing suppliers by setting, measuring, and driving performance expectations while working with cross-functional teams (internal and external) to drive program deliverables.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for LED components and associated materials for special projects. Ensure alignment with project timelines, technical specifications, and budget requirements.

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard LED signage suppliers capable of meeting project-specific needs. Maintain and manage supplier relationships, focusing on quality, reliability, innovation, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Lead negotiations with LED signage suppliers to secure favorable pricing and contract terms. Drive cost savings initiatives while ensuring adherence to technical requirements and project deadlines.

  • Work closely with engineering, gaming operations, and project management teams to understand the specific LED signage requirements for each project. Support the development of prototypes and full-scale production by ensuring the timely availability of materials.

  • Ensure all sourced LED signage meets industry standards and project-specific quality requirements. Coordinate with suppliers to perform necessary FCC and UL testing to meet regulatory and compliance guidelines.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging LED screen technologies, and innovations. Proactively recommend new products, technologies, and solutions to enhance the performance and cost-effectiveness of special project sourcing strategies.

  • Collaborate with supply planning and new product purchasing teams to optimize lead times, storage, and installation of LED signage. Ensure alignment between the supply chain and project team needs to minimize delays or disruptions.

  • Establish performance metrics for special project LED signage suppliers and regularly monitor delivery, quality, and cost performance. Provide feedback and work on continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with sourcing LED components, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, or price volatility. Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies when needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, project management or sourcing.

  • Proven track record in sourcing and managing supplier relationships, particularly in a technical and complex environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
