The Role
As a Senior Materials Manager within our Supply Chain organization, you will play a key role in streamlining the material processes & systems, right sizing inventory, and assuring that we have the right quantity of parts in the factory at the right time; using FIFO, Metering, receiving, put away, and delivery methods to the manufacturing line.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure timely execution of FIFO and 2 bin replenishment systems
  • Manage WMS, implement Metering, receiving, put away, and delivery methods to the line. 
  • Document and install sound processes
  • Maintain Zero downtime mentality, document instances through RCCA processes 
  • Own and perform cycle counts and inventory accuracy collaboratively with finance and material planning
  • Lead, manage, coach and develop team members, supervisors, associates
  • Maintain 100% customer mindset, the manufacturing line being your number one priority
  • Own and present analyses as needed to the senior management team
  • Use and implement RF Smart and NS 
  • Manage material planning system configuration, parameters and master data to optimally reflect supply chain capabilities and plan supply to right size inventory and exceed service level goals while minimizing costs and obsolescence

Skills to be successful:

  • 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, distribution, finance, or supply chain management
  • Bachelors or Masters in Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering or similar discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably working with medium-to-high volume products) with knowledge & experience in converting and communicating demand requirements for products into detailed plans and schedules for inventory acquisition
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in developing, implementing, and assessing key operational and financial metrics
  • Demonstrated skills in supplier operational and relationship management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to haves:

  • APICS or other supply chain management certifications
  • Netsuite Oracle experience
  • Electric vehicle or battery pack related supply chain management experience
Pay Equity
Moxion is committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for substantially similar work. Compensation displayed is a range. Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements.  We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience.  Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change. 
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
