Product Assurance (PA) Engineer

Telespazio Belgium can count on almost 40 years of experience in the field of Space Operations Service & Engineering activities. We provide a significant contribution to the most major Space programs of the European Space Agency. Currently, we are looking for a highly enthusiastic Product Assurance (PA) Engineer who will work for Telespazio Belgium, in our headquarter in Belgium, in Transinne.

What is expected from you:

• Support the definition and implementation of PA, QA, and RAMS baseline based on the tailoring of the applicable requirements and the related European Cooperation on Space Standardisation (ECSS) standards.
  
• Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of an effective product assurance programme by maintaining and ensuring the application of the internal processes applicable to the PA/QA.
• Ensure that the output and deliverables produced by the PA disciplines are consistent, complete, and delivered in line with the project schedule and customer requirements.
• Control contractor’s product assembly and constantly verify the delivery processes.
• Control the quality of supplier’s products by and ensure the tracking of PA contribution Items (PA Status reviews, NCs list, Waiver, etc…)
• Active participation in NRBs
• Establish and maintain and support (perform the audits) an internal audit plan
• Contribute to Configuration Management and documentation status.
• Maintained in order the as-built documentation to reflect approved modifications.
• Review and assess the results of RAMS analysis (e.g. FMECA, FTA, Common Mode and Common cause).
• In case of the need to contribute to Corporate QMS (quality management system) tasks.

What you offer

• Degree in aerospace/computer/electronic/management engineering or equivalent qualification.
• A few years of experience in PA/QA and/or RAMS analysis.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing project documentation.
• Strong interest in processes, quality, problem solving and improvement.
• Fluent in English, both in speech and writing.
• Experience in FMECA analysis, availability analysis, and RAMS analysis is an asset.
• Experience in EU Space programmes is an asset.
• Familiarity with ISO standards is an asset.
