As a Senior Interim Accountant, you will take the lead on our accounting department, ensuring the smooth functioning of financial operations and provide strategic oversight in key accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations: Oversee general accounting tasks with junior accountants & controlling, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Process Leadership:

• Purchase/Sales Accounting: Review invoices, credit notes, and payments.

• Finance Accounting: Manage bank bookings, weekly Isabelle payments, and cash flow monitoring.

• General Accounting: Reconcile accounts, oversee expense bookings, and finalize provisions.

• Payroll & Tax Accounting: Ensure accurate payroll bookings, VAT returns, ISOC, and tax compliance.

• Project Accounting: Align project cost tracking with PMO for accurate forecasting.

• Closing Management: Lead monthly and quarterly closings, including provisions and reconciliations.

Team Collaboration & Mentoring: Guide junior accountants, resolve complex queries, and collaborate with Controlling & PMO.

Strategic Reporting: Provide financial insights for decision-making and ensure compliance in period-end closings.

Continuous Improvement: Enhance accounting systems, focusing on Purchase-to-Pay and cost modeling in 2025.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years in senior accounting roles, ideally in interim or project-based assignments.

Technical Skills:

o   Strong expertise in accounting principles with a sharp analytical mindset.

o   Proficiency in ERP systems for accounting (ADFINITY is a strong asset).

o   Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Soft Skills:

o   Ability to manage deadlines, solve problems, and communicate effectively.

o   Leadership experience, including mentoring or managing junior profiles.

Languages: Proficiency in French and English (written and oral).
