Senior Field Service Representative (FSR)

At ManTech International Corporation, you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.</p><p></p><p>Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented <b>Sr. Field Service Representative</b> to join our <b>Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities  Sustainment (ALECS) </b>team. The selected candidate will assist in providing sustainment support services (operational engineering and logistics support) globally for some 25,000 vehicles including the Army's Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, or MRAPs.</p><p></p><p><b><u>*Important Note*</u></b>: Selected candidates <b><u>without</u></b> an <b><u>ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa</u></b> will be required to work the <b><u>first 90 days</u></b> in a <b><u>Temporary role</u> </b>while obtaining their Visa<b>. </b>Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a <b><u>Full-Time German Contract</u></b>. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system. </p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</b></p><ul><li>Maintenance support which includes operations, system troubleshooting, engineering, design, installation, analysis, maintenance and repair of U.S. systems and subsystems to component level.</li><li>Effectively applies industry or military standard troubleshooting procedures to localize and isolate faulty system components.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b>:</p><ul><li><b>Must obtain or already have an active </b><b>Germany/E.U. Work VISA</b><b> to be considered. </b></li><li>A minimum of <b>12 years</b> of experience which include <b>4 years</b> working on MRAP vehicles.</li><li><b>Ability to meet the government deployment physical requirements, if needed.</b></li><li>Proficient with a variety of hand tools, diagnostic tools, power tools, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and welding.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in the application of industry or military standard troubleshooting procedures to localize and isolate faulty system components.</li><li>Prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems.</li><li>Experience in technical support of complex U.S. military ground systems.</li><li>Experience with office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li><b>Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.</b></li><li>Must have a High School Diploma or GED.  </li><li><b><span>A<span>bility to meet the government deployment physical requirements, if needed</span></span></b></li><li><b>AFSC: Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) Fuel <span>and Fire Truck experience.</span></b></li><li><span>Possession of a valid European or German<span> </span></span><span>driver</span><span>'s license is required (OR) the ability to obtain a valid<span> </span></span><span>driving</span><span><span> </span>license before beginning employment.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Desired Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Holding an existing German or European Work VISA is preferred. </li><li>Prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems preferable.</li><li>Preferably familiar or knowledgeable with MRAP/RCV systems.</li><li>Willingness to travel to hostile areas is <span><span>desired.                                         </span></span></li><li>Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.</li><li>Some OCONUS deployments may be too risky hostile ("war zone") environments which earn larger bonuses.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Security Clearance Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a (<b><u>DoD) Public Trust</u></b> clearance.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Physical Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.</li><li>Must be able to push, pull, and reach.</li><li>Must be able to work in high noise areas.</li><li>Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.</li><li>Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><span>#ALECS</span></p><p></p><p><span>For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
