<span><span>Evolus is a performance beauty company with a customer-centric approach focused on delivering breakthrough products.</span></span><span><span> </span></span><span><span>We are seeking an experienced and driven International Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Team. </span></span><span>In this pivotal role, you’ll be a collaborative partner within our International business, leading month-end close activities and preparing accurate, timely financial reporting packs for all Evolus markets outside the U.S. You'll bring your technical accounting expertise and research skills to help shape, implement, and continuously improve our financial processes and reporting structures across international operations. You’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence and delivering insights that support strategic decision-making as we grow globally. In this role, you will be challenged to drive the success of Evolus in an effort to build a brand like no other.</span></span><span><span> </span></span><span><span> </span></span><span><span> </span></span><b><span>Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:</span></b><ul><li><span>Drive timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.</span></li><li><span>Manage revenue recognition processes, including for complex contract arrangements.</span></li><li><span>Lead the external audit and annual accounts preparation for international entities, initially in partnership with local consultants.</span></li><li><span>Prepare and submit statutory filings in each relevant jurisdiction, ensuring compliance with local requirements.</span></li><li><span>Support the implementation and ongoing execution of SOX-compliant processes and internal controls.</span></li><li><span>Ensure all accounting activities align with both US GAAP and local GAAP standards.</span></li><li><span>Partner closely with cross-functional teams to gather information, share insights, and support business needs.</span></li><li><span>Contribute to special projects and initiatives within the accounting function as they arise.</span></li><li><span>Own your areas of responsibility—maintaining clear documentation and process transparency.</span></li><li><span>Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.</span></li><li><span>Potential opportunity to manage and support a team member as the function evolves.</span></li></ul><span> </span><b><span> </span></b><b><span>Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member:</span></b><span> </span><ul><li><span>University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Italian professional qualification (e.g. Dottore Commercialista) or international equivalent is a strong plus</span></li><li><span>Experience in the life sciences or pharmaceutical sector is highly appreciated</span></li><li><span>Solid understanding of accounting principles with progressive experience in similar roles</span></li><li><span>Familiarity with US GAAP and experience working in a SOX-compliant environment is desirable</span></li><li><span>Exposure to international, multi-country operations—ideally within a US-headquartered company</span></li><li><span>Previous involvement in a fast-paced, scale-up or start-up environment is a real advantage</span></li><li><span>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently across teams and cultures</span></li><li><span>Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take ownership</span></li><li><span>A collaborative team player who thrives in close-knit, cross-functional teams</span></li><li><span>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing priorities</span></li><li><span>Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to an evolving business</span></li><li><span>Hands-on and adaptable—willing to roll up sleeves and contribute at all levels</span></li></ul><span> </span><b><span>A Few Other Items Worth Mentioning:</span></b><ul><li><span>Location: Milan, Italy, with a flexible hybrid work model to support work-life balance.</span></li><li><span>Reporting Line: This role reports to the International Financial Controller, based in Milan, ensuring close collaboration with global leadership.</span></li></ul><b><span> </span></b><b><span>Compensation & Total Rewards</span></b><span> </span><span>We offer more than just a paycheck—our benefits are designed to
