THE ROLE

The Warehouse Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for purchasing, managing inventory, and efficient management of warehouse operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees warehouse supervisors & associates; delegating stocking of vessels & creates plans for preparing inventory for chartered events
• Creates purchase orders for vendor ordering and submits to General Manager for approval prior to orders being placed.
• Utilizes Inventory System to record and track inventory flow between six vessels.
• Works with GM & Finance Manager on Month-End Inventory process.
• Meets warehouse operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Also resolves problems and identifies warehouse system improvements.
• Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.
• Maintains storage area by organizing floor space, adheres to storage design principles, and implements improvements.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE    

• Previous experience supervising or managing a high volume warehouse operation for a minimum of 2-3 years

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision

COMPENSATION

$75,000, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
