Your Impact at Ascend Analytics
You will provide administrative and operational support to Ascend Analytics' Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role will begin with a focus on corporate and department level administrative functions as well as diverse tasks requiring knowledge of office systems and operational support best practices. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and provide solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism. You will plan and prioritize a diverse workload and offer suggestions to enhance procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency within the company. Adaptability is key for this role as you may be asked to support more than one department and extend support where needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide executive support to the CEO as well as other executives on occasion
- Complete a wide variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including but not limited to: managing a busy calendar of appointments, composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential, arranging travel plans, itineraries and agendas
- Complete projects and assignments in a timely fashion by setting objectives, defining priorities, managing time, collaborating with others, problem solving, and being flexible
- Prepare and submit expense reports for CEO
- Prepare, format, and edit a range of documents (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including reviewing, managing, and finalizing documents
- Event planning for company and department
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or other relevant field of study preferred
- 8+ years of experience in the role of Executive Admin, Corporate Admin, Department Admin, or similar position
- Excellent and efficient computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Eager to wear many hats and adopt new skills
- Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and time management excellence
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with a high standard of professionalism in all dealings with internal and external stakeholders
- Passion for renewable energy and supporting the energy transition
- Ability to independently manage workload and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work on site five days a week
- Prior experience managing proposals, contracts, or other complex documents
- Experience supporting marketing, finance, corporate, or sales functions preferred
