Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Process high volume of rebates payments in a 37-day frame. Obtain savings by disputing invoice errors.  Validate & approve contract updates for federal, state & supplemental rebate programs.

  • Review state and consortium contracts for supplemental and enter details into Model N system.

  • Ensure proper documentation maintained on all Medicaid transactions & contracts. Conduct proper review of Formulary positioning for Supplemental Contracts.

  • Generate payment documentation for internal processing, compliance, and state reconciliation.

  • Provide evidence of compliance for internal and external audit. 

  • Provide insights into in-depth analytics and reporting to internal and external parties.

  • Perform Trend analysis of units, sales & price points. Provide ad hoc reporting to internal and external parties.

  • Support Cash Flow functions and reporting monthly.

  • Lead project activities from an analyst level and provide support to other analysts within the project.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in financial, analytical, or pharmaceutical roles

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with Revitas or Model N systems preferred

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience working with Medicaid rebate processes or government pricing programs

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical contract lifecycle management systems, Revitas or Model N systems preferred

Novartis Compensation Summary:

The salary for this position is expected to range between $66,800.00 and $124,000.00 per year.

The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.

Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.
