Position Summary

Job Summary:

The Medicare and Medicaid Program Specialist at Cherry Blossom PACE plays a critical role in ensuring smooth participant onboarding, accurate benefit coverage, and long-term financial compliance. This position supports enrollment, recertification, and retention efforts, working collaboratively with the enrollment team, social work, and finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid programs, experience managing complex processes, and the ability to engage both internal teams and external agencies to support participants throughout their care journey.

 

Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Social Work, or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years working in Medicare/Medicaid program management, PACE operations, or similar role.
    • Proven experience with financial documentation and eligibility processes.
    • Familiarity with CMS and state systems for application tracking and reporting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple timelines.
    • Skilled at de-escalating concerns and retaining at-risk participants.
    • Proficient with relevant software (EHRs, financial systems, Microsoft Office Suite).
